If you’re anything like me – you love a good manicure. And if you love yourself a good mani, then you’ve no doubt used the Essie brand of nail polishes. Entrepreneur posted this video on their website of Essie founder, Essie Weingarten reflecting on her cosmetics company and how it’s become an iconic brand.

She talks about wanting to create an affordable accessory that everyone could enjoy and allow women to feel like a million bucks just by changing the colour of their nail polish. I can definitely attest to this. Russian Roulette makes me feel like a diva, while Knock Out Pout plays up my more feminine side.

I love watching videos of inspirational women, especially those who’ve paved the way for so many others and watching Essie discuss the growth and evolution of her game-changing cosmetics company is one I’ll include in my #girlboss playlist.
