In order to keep your readers coming back, keep them engaged and wanting more and, ultimately, drive more traffic to your blog, you need to come up with blog content that’s enticing.

There are many factors that determine the success of a post in terms of earning traffic, shares and likes. However, the types of posts you publish play a large factor as well. Below I’ve listed 10 types of blog posts that can earn you more traffic, shares and likes for your blog.


An infographic is the presentation of information in a visual way. They are a powerful way to get your information out there in an explosively visual format.

Infographics are liked and shared on social media up to three times more often than other content. Infographics get shared more, viewed more, and loved more than most other content types.


A good video communicates a message in a succinct and memorable way. Done well, a video can be extraordinarily persuasive.


A guide is a detailed and fairly long piece of content. Think of it as an epic blog post. It goes beyond the length, style and approach of an ordinary blog post.

A product review can help establish authority and leadership in your industry. Every industry has its unique array of products, software and services.
